How Toxic Are You?

I want to start this off by providing you with a great feeling of empowerment. About 10 years ago a great book was written called “The China Study” by Collin Campbell. This is book is considered by many to be the most comprehensive study of nutrition ever conducted.

Collin Campbell came to the conclusion based on his research, and the results of thousands of other studies, that only 2-3% of all Cancers can be attributed to genetics alone. This means that you have 97-98% control over wither or not you develop Cancer, based on your lifestyle choices. This is not opinion. This information can be considered as factual.

This information can lead us to the conclusion that the vast majority of the lifestyle choices practiced in this country should immediately be reevaluated. We all have Cancerous genes in our body. That is proven. We also have an incredible body with a built in self healing and disease prevention system, called the immune system.

Due to the amount of toxins we are exposed to, the VAST majority of us have severely weak and inefficient immune systems. This puts us at great risk for developing Cancer, Autoimmune Disease, hormonal imbalance, and a never ending list of other acute and chronic health conditions. Once again, this is not opinion. This information comes from the results of thousands of studies, performed by research doctors all over the world. This is information that has been largely kept from you. This is happening because of the lobbying in Washington by the all powerful pharmaceutical industry, with the goal of keeping you sick.

Without going on a tangent, let me provide some suggestions on how to minimize your toxicity based on lifestyle choice. Utilizing the right information and taking control of your health could categorically eliminate your chances of developing disease. Not to mention, positive side effects such as weight loss, increased energy, improved sex drive, improved sleep, clearer thinking, improved digestion and many other.

So how toxic are you?

I am largely going to let you determine that for yourself. I am going to provide you with a criteria by which to form your opinion.

One simple way to determine toxicity is to observe how your body is functioning. Another way to determine your toxicity is to evaluate your daily exposure to toxins. The latter of the two is what I would like to get you to think about today, because how your body functions, is a direct result of your exposure to toxins.

I cannot even begin to discuss the Do’s and Dont’s of what you should and shouldn’t do surrounding these potential sources of toxins in this post, however I will touch upon them individually later, giving an entire post to each one. Start to think about these six categories with regards to what you are exposing your body to. This will be a good start for preparing your mind for future learning.
